BN TV: How Fast does an Olympic Boxer Punch? Let’s find out from this Haitian Boxer


Richardson Hitchins is boxing in the 2016 Olympics on the Haitian team. Before leaving for Rio, he and CNNMoney correspondent Vanessa Yurkevich testedHykso’s Boxing Sensors which measure punching speed. Hitchins also spoke briefly on his life so far as a boxer and says that knowing his speed with Hykso’s Boxing Sensors is great information for him and will help him punch faster at the Olympics.

When I came in boxing I met a lot of people that would show me a different living, like I never knew what a hotel room was or stuff like that. So boxing made the world more easy for me and it opened a lot of doors so I just hope that my boxing can open up doors for my family and make life easier for them.
On what it would mean for Haiti if he won the gold
What!? I’ll probably become the president of Haiti that day we’ll just have to see after the olympic games, I’ll just focus on every fight one by one.
